Vidya Mandir, the brainchild of our Founder, late N. LEELAVATHI was started fifty years ago with the aim of providing value based holistic education. She was a visionary and she painstakingly paved the path for the institution and built it to its present glorious state.
This institution has been built brick by brick by the eminent Committee members, many efficient government agencies, our committed teachers, the supportive parents of our students and most importantly our beloved students. After accompanying us on this journey for fifty years and after ensuring that we were on the right track, our beloved Founder departed for her heavenly abode. The journey of visionaries never end, and here we are, treading on the path, guided by her vision.
The mantle has fallen on our shoulders to carry forward this legacy. With a silent prayer on our lips and the blessings of our founder, we continue on this journey. Value based holistic education continues to be our vision and dream and we will leave no stone unturned while on this mission

Sri Vidya Mandir Education Society celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the month of January, 2020. The institution was built, brick by brick, by Smt. N Leelavathi. She had to face a lot of challenges to establish SVMES and to bring it up as one of the best schools in Malleshwaram. The institution believes in providing value based education along with academics, extra-curricular activities and sports. It creates an environment for students to learn and appreciate our country’s rich culture and traditions. The achievements of our current students and alumni, in all fields, stands testimony to the quality of education imparted in the school.

Our Indian philosophy has always advocated the search for truth through profound thinking. A seed of harmony planted in the mind, brings peace. A seed of discord creates chaos. Thinking is a natural process for all of us, but how to focus on the constructive ones, is a challenge.

We have reached a point in time that we had eagerly been anticipating. The start of the pandemic presented us with a number of difficulties, but as an institution, we were able to successfully adapt. Life finally seems to be going back to normal. It gives us immense pleasure to see our students back in school, filled with energy and enthusiasm.
Students are the life of the school and seeing our campus bubbling with activity is something that really keeps us motivated. Our prime focus is to ensure holistic development by providing equal opportunities in curricular, co-curricular as well as extra curricular activities.
The post Covid era presents us with a fresh set of challenges. The pandemic has brought in a lot of behavioural changes in the students which needs to be addressed. Our staff members are doing a commendable job at ensuring that these aspects are taken cognizance of and are guiding the students on the same. With the unwavering support and co-operation of the parents, we hope to overcome these challenges and guide the children in becoming responsible citizens of the future.
