Higher primary unit has conducted many competitions in scholastic and non-scholastic fields. Competitions as recitation, creative writing and oratorical – both in Kannada and English and pick and speak in English were conducted. Other competitions as Mehendi and Rangoli designing, drawing and painting, flower arrangement, collage making were conducted for all the class. Apart from these IT competitions, G K quiz and school level enhancement of versatility skills tests were conducted. The prizes for all these events were given on 05/02/2025. Our esteemed principal Mrs. Bharathi Doraiswamy, Vice-Principal Mrs Rajeswari, Coordinator for BBMP school Mrs Dakshayini along with the headmistress of higher primary unit Mrs Uma BS presided over the function and gave the prizes and medals to the deserving students.
The function started by invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswathy by a divine rendition. The VII, VI and V std individual prizes were given followed by the attendance prizes for cent percent attendance. The interhouse sports events prizes were accepted by the captains and vice-captains of the sports houses (Vayu, Varuna, Agni, Akash and Prithivi). This was followed by interhouse cultural competition prizes and finally the rolling trophy which was won by the Pruthivi House. A wonderful event which was concluded by the message from our beloved principal.

Higher primary conducts classes for general activity wherein the interest for general knowledge is kindled in students. After many rounds of quiz were conducted in class and students were selected for the grand finale. The event was held in the basement in front of the projector for the classes V, VI and VII std respectively. Quiz was conducted through five rounds of eight questions each, where the levels of understanding in all the subjects including current affairs was ascertained. The quiz was very interesting and was a learning experience both for the students and the faculty. Many of the students who were spectators also won prizes.
