A woman of gold, glittering and luminescent just like the metal, our beloved Founder Smt. N Leelavati was in fact, a woman of steel. Her perseverance and single-minded devotion for education and the Institution was indeed a celebrated fact. Her brainchild, Sri Vidya Mandir, grew in leaps and bounds as the years flew by, and soon we were on the Golden Threshold.

With our enigmatic leader steering us, we rejoiced as we celebrated our Golden Jubilee alongside our staunch stalwart beacon of light, in January 2020. A massive crowd of alumni, teachers – past and present, enjoyed the day immensely, and a signature Golden Jubilee Book was released by Leelavati Ma’am, to commemorate the occasion.

The golden jubilee celebrations at our school were a vibrant tapestry of nostalgia and festivity, marking 50 years of academic excellence and cherished memories. The corridors echoed with laughter as alumni reunited, sharing anecdotes of yesteryears.

Our beloved principal, a stalwart in education, stood at the helm, steering the institution through five decades of growth. Her unwavering dedication and visionary leadership were evident in every aspect of the jubilee festivities. From cultural events that showcased the diverse talents nurtured within our school to academic exhibitions highlighting the strides in education, the celebrations were a testament to her commitment.
