The Journey Of A Thousand Miles Begins With A Single Step!
Annual day is an integral part of every School Programme in which the entire school come together to celebrate the success and achievements with a lot of entertainment programmes. This year Annual Day was held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall on 29th and 30th of November. Children of grade 1 & 2 showcased scenes from the great epic Sampoorna Ramayana.
Students of 3 & 4 presented many events. Children made the gathering tap their feet for various dances under the theme Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. A short English play on ‘Value of Kindness’ which highlighted the preachings of Gautham Buddha, left the audience speechless.
Apart from these, students sang muti linguistic patriotic songs and made the day a memorable event.
‘Retro To Metro Games’ was the theme for grade 1 and 2 that highlighted forgotten indoor and outdoor games. Children participated with great pomp and enthusiasm. The theme stimulated the parents to encourage their children to play more physical and mental games with friends than playing with gadgets.
Students of class 3 and 4 danced for Indo European Confluence and made the audience tap their feet. Dance is an art form of expressions that portrays Vasudaivakutumbakam , the world is not only a stage but one family for us Indians, wherever we go we have to be deep rooted in our culture.
Humorous Kannada play of ‘Tenali Rama’ by students of grade 3 and 4 made the audience burst out with laughter. This play was not only humorous but gave the message that any problem can be solved with a light mindset.
